Links Live Media brings a self-contained multi-camera control room, our “air pack”, to your shoot. We record and switch your conference, town hall, gala, comedy special or live show on location, and stream it live to YouTube, Vimeo or a private destination when you need it. From quote to delivery
1. Send us the basics
Email the date, the venue, roughly how many cameras you want, and whether you need a live stream. We’ll come back with a quote.
2. Plan the show
We work out camera positions, audio, graphics and the stream setup with you and the venue before the day.
3. We set up, record and switch
Our crew sets up the air pack, runs the live cut, records every camera and audio source separately, and streams it if you’ve asked for a stream.
4. You get the recordings
After the shoot you get the program recording, ISO video of every camera and ISO audio files, ready for highlights, an on-demand version or a full edit. In-house editing is available.
Multicam and live streaming questions
How much does a multi-camera shoot or live stream cost in Toronto?
Every shoot is quoted per job, because the price depends on the number of cameras, the crew size, the venue and how long the event runs. Equipment packages start at $1,500 a day for the Core Multicam Package (4 PTZ cameras, a live switcher, ISO recording, sound, lighting and optional streaming) and $4,500 a day for the Pro Multicam Package. Crew is quoted per shoot, and prices are in CAD plus HST. Email studiobooking@linkslivemedia.com with the date, venue and number of cameras and we’ll send a quote.
How many cameras can you bring?
Both packages include 4 remote PTZ cameras. Our main 4K cameras are the Sony FR7 and OBSBOT Tail 2 PTZs and the Sony FX6, and we add Sony FX30, FX3 and Blackmagic Pocket 6K cameras for bigger shoots. Need a specific camera package? We can accommodate it through cross rentals from our vendors.
Where can you stream to?
YouTube, Vimeo or a private destination, and live contributions to broadcasters.
Can you live stream an AGM or a hybrid meeting?
Yes. Conferences and AGMs are one of the main things the air pack is built for: we cover the room on multiple cameras and stream it to remote attendees.
Do you travel outside Toronto?
Yes. We’re based in Toronto and work across the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, and we can accommodate projects across the country on request.
Do you only do live streams, or can you just record?
Either. Many shoots are recorded on multiple cameras for the edit with no stream at all, and every shoot comes with the program recording plus ISO video of every camera and ISO audio files. Editing is available in-house.
Do you offer post-production and editing?
Yes. Because we record the program cut plus ISO video of every camera and ISO audio, our in-house editors can deliver anything from a cleaned-up full event to a polished multicam edit: highlight reels, on-demand versions, speaker-by-speaker clips, social cutdowns, colour, audio mixing, titles and graphics. Ask for post-production in your quote and we’ll plan the shoot around the edit.
Can you add live graphics and lower thirds?
Yes. Live graphics and lower thirds can be added to any package.
